Staging Accessories
Stage Steps, Stairs, Rails, Bracing and more...
Whether you need lifts, steps, or full aluminun stairs with rails depends upon the height of the stage. The full aluminum stair package is OEM to the stage, meaning it's made for the stage by the stage manufacturer. That way everything lines up for secure attachment and operation.
Stage rails are recommended for taller stages, or when there is a lot of movement (dancing, etc.) on the stage in environments that are less than fully lighted.
For example, when Santa Clause is seated on a six foot tall stage platform with stairs for the kids on both sides, trust me, we bolted on the rails all the way around!
Stage bracing is not an extra! If the stage is tall enough to get 'em on, we brace them. The X-bracing, or scaffold bracing, bolts on to the stage legs, securing them - and ultimately the stage - from moving - at all! The static (non-moving) nature of the stage is what's important. The band, the models, the choir, the speakers...whomever is on the stage wants it Not to move! If the stage is too short for the x-braces, there are other methods to utilize, but shorter stages - as a function of the shorter legs - do not usually need the same bracing applied.
Skirting
We've got Black, Burgundy, Blue, and Red in stock, with other color options made available upon request. Skirting comes in various fabrics, heights, and styles, for applications including both stages and tables. Available with velcro, clips, or staple application. Skirting is a world unto itself.
Rails
If you've got a row of chairs close to the rear of the stage, you might need some rails around the edges. For most stage uses: band stages, modeling runways, corporate presentations, rails are optional.
LED Rope Lights
We keep Red, Blue, Cool White, Clear, and Purple in stock, with several other color options upon request. LED rope light is great for providing ambient lighting, outlining modeling runways, stages, and more. These strands can be controlled from dimmer packs to provide multiple levels of enhancement.
